Small and perfectly formed!
Our diving instructors specialise in taking small groups of divers, maximum 4/5 divers each, which enables them to ensure your safety as well as guiding you to see everything from the smallest shrimp to the largest fish in the sea, the whale shark! They speak many European languages, and spend everyday diving the sites around Dhigurah so know them better than anyone else. Typically we do up to 3 dives a day, with night dives on request and weather permitting. Full day trips are organised regularly to look for whale sharks or go to manta cleaning stations in season. Lunch is provided on the boat on those days as well as the usual drinks. Our whole mission is to give you a personal and intimate diving experience which you will never forget!

Our 55’ dive boat features ‘Ali cafe’ where tea, coffee and biscuits will be served after each dive. You will be given a reusable water bottle on arrival and there are water filling stations on the boat as well as in the hotel. There are two fresh water showers, a toilet, a fresh water tub for cameras, computers and torches. Fresh towels will be provided each day.

Our dive boat Captain has over 20 years spotting whale sharks and will always drop divers in the best place to observe them at close quarters. He can find each one of the 15 thilas, (pinnacles) without GPS and knows how to drop divers so they can drift slowly and calmly towards them. No fast and negative entry descents for our guests.

Our experienced Diving instructors can train guests in

• PADI Open Water
• PADI Advanced
• PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox)
• As well as any PADI courses up to and including Divemaster.

Each course is small and intimate with usually one or two divers.

At BB Dive all our instructors will listen to your previous diving experience and plan according to your individual skills and requirements.
Each evening our Dive team will visit the hotel before dinner and will share photos and videos on our TV screen as well as personally sharing them with anyone who wishes at no charge. Fish identification books are available and the next days dive and snorkelling plan will be discussed and formulated.

Sometimes full day safaris will be planned with lunch on the boat for whale shark spotting and snorkelling. Other days will include our most famous thila dives, such as Kudarah and perhaps a wreck dive. There are over 50 dive sites within each reach so lots of opportunity to see fantastic marine life and different types of diving...such as drift dives, wreck dives, channel dives.
